There is a little warrior or crazy super hero in all of us, so come join in the fun of making your personalized helmet. You will enjoy imagining your character, drawing it, and having it built to fit your head perfectly on the first day. The helmets are made of plaster bandages and they will dry overnight. The second day, they will be painted and decorated - lavished with color, glitter, feathers and much more! This class is surely an experience to remember and also great for Halloween inspiration! As the light dims at this time of year, brighten your home with the gentle light of a Spirit House. We will create a "House-like" structure out of sticks and paper illuminated by an electrical bulb. The first day will consist of drawing and building the structure and getting the under lying coat of paper on. They will dry overnight. The second day is for decorating - which can go on for hours! Colorful tissue paper, paint, rubber-stamping, leaves, feathers, moss and seed-pods are among a few of the possibilities available to illuminate this magical structure. For those intimidated by the "building" stage, or limited on time, pre-made Spirit House structures are available for sale allowing those to buy one and only participate in the second day of decorating.
