This requires a minimum 9-month commitment of 4-12 hours per week and some training.

This Work to include:

Beading with children and families outside surgery wards.

Assisting CHAP teaching artists in group classes in hospital playrooms

Assisting CHAP teaching artists in bedside art classes on the Oncology Ward

Retail tasks (pricing, branding, restocking, window & store displays, sizing, accounting), Promotions (flyering,etc.) Silk-screening wrapping paper, Soliciting & gathering donations of clothing and art materials, and many varied art-making tasks.

Community Outreach Events: CHAP participates in many fun community events each year from the Mississippi Street Fair to Art Night at City Hall. We need help with set up, running art programs, and breakdown.

CHAP Fundraisers Tasks: Event production/coordination, set-up, break-down, onsite (cooks & servers)

Data entry, grant assistance, press kit assembly and more.  Arranging & making presentations about CHAP's mission and programs to elementary & high schools, and various community groups

Scanning of children's artwork is needed for our digital library, as well as product layout (greeting cards, rug and fabric designs, etc). This can be completed at the CHAP Studio, or scanning can be done outside of the factory.

We will work with you to fulfill your requirements within our fun and art-filled program
